Basil-flavoured pot pie

  • 3 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 glass of milk
  • 2 flaky pastries
  • 400 g grated Gruyere cheese
  • 400 g leftover fish/vegetable or meat
  • 5 drops of basil flavouring

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 240° C.

2. Chop your leftovers and mix with the gruyere cheese

3. Separate the white of one egg yolk. Mix 2 whole eggs with this white. Add the milk and 5 drops of basil flavouring.

4. Add salt and pepper.

5. In a pie dish, roll out the puff pastry and place the mixture on top.

6. Pour the liquid mixture on top.

7. Cover with the second puff pastry and seal the corners of both pastries.

8. Brush the top puff pastry with the egg yolk you set aside earlier.

9. Punch a small hole in the centre.

10. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes.
