Homemade yoghurt with granola and banana flavouring

For the yoghurt :

  • 1 sachet of lactic ferment
  • 1L UHT milk at room temperature
  • 5 tbsp. whole milk powder
  • 3 drops of natural banana flavouring

For the granola :

  • 20g honey
  • 200g dried fruit
  • 50g flaked almonds
  • 180g oat flakes
  • 1 cup of coffee (espresso)
  • 70g sunflower seeds

For the yoghurt :

1.in a large bowl, whisk together the milk and the sachet of lactic ferment.

Add the drops of natural banana flavouring (you can flavour your yoghurt with many other flavours).

Divide the mixture between 7 to 8 sterilised glass yoghurt pots.

Incubate in a yogurt maker for 8 to 12 hours.

For the granola :

Pour the oats, dried fruit, sunflower seeds, almonds, espresso and honey into a large bowl and mix.

Spread the mixture on a large, lightly greased baking tray lined with baking paper. Make an even layer.

Bake for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are toasted.

Serve in the yoghurt with a few slices of banana.
