Soft cake with lemon and poppy flavour

125 g butter

125 g sugar

125 g flour

2 eggs

2 lemons

1 sachet of baking powder

1 pinch of salt

1 tablespoon of poppy flavouring

Preparation :

1. In a bowl, whisk the soft butter with the sugar to obtain a creamy mixture.

2. Add the eggs and mix.

3. Take the lemons and grate the peel.

4. Remove the juice from the two lemons, add to the mixture and mix.

5. Mix the flour, baking powder and salt and add to the mixture, mixing lightly.

6. Add your tablespoon of poppy flavouring and mix again.

7. Butter and sugar two small 16cm springform tins or a single 18-22cm tin and spread the batter into them

8. Bake at 180° for 20 to 25 minutes.

9. Leave to cool for 10 minutes before removing from the mould.
