Sweet potato gratin with orange flavour

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 orange

  • Nutmeg
  • 150g of comté cheese
  • 3 sweet potatoes
  • 25cl of liquid cream
  • 1 stick of cinnamon
  • 5 drops of orange flavouring

Preparation:

  1. Peel and rinse the sweet potatoes and cut them into thick slices (about 1 cm).
  2. Boil the potatoes with salt and the cinnamon stick until they are cooked but still firm. Stick the tip of a knife into a slice to check, about 8 to 10 minutes is enough.
  3. Meanwhile, wash the orange and grate the peel.
  4. Beat the eggs into an omelette, add the cream, half the cheese, salt and pepper, and grate some nutmeg.
  5. Add the drops of natural orange flavouring.
  6. Preheat your oven to 180°.
  7. Butter a gratin dish, add the sweet potatoes, cover with the flan and add the remaining cheese.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes and enjoy!
