Whisky flavoured green cupcakes

  • 130g soft butter
  • 130g wheat flour
  • 130g brown sugar 125g vegetable margarine
  • 2 eggs 50g icing sugar
  • 1 sachet baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons whisky flavouring
  • 2 drops of natural green colouring

1- Start by preheating your oven to 180°C and prepare your baking tray by placing a sheet of baking paper.

2- Melt the butter slightly in the microwave.

3- Whisk the eggs and the brown sugar. Then slowly add the flour and mix.

4- Add the melted butter and whisky flavouring and mix again until smooth.

5- Pour your mixture into the moulds to fill them 2/3 of the way. Place in the oven for 15 minutes and leave to cool before decorating.

6- To prepare the icing, put your bowl and whisk in the freezer for 10 minutes. Once out, add the vegetable margarine, icing sugar and green colouring to the bowl.

7- Whisk for about 5 minutes to form the whipped cream.

8- Fill your piping bag with the green whipped cream and decorate your cupcakes!

9- Enjoy or chill!
